Headed home after a long day of work in the city? Then you might be tempted by Lucy's Cantina Royale, a quasi-Mexican spot tucked away in One Penn Plaza near Penn Station. If you need a bar in a pinch that serves some middle of the road snacks, it'll do, but don't expect much more. All the typical Americanized Mexican standards are here: tortilla chips in a paper bag with guacamole, wings, and, of course, a heaping plate of nachos. The Baja Sliders and hot dog, however, are a long way from being authentic to any national cuisine. Nonetheless, with over-the-top surfing décor and a decent array of hard and soft shells tacos (including skirt steak and pulled pork), Lucy's will likely be a consideration for many future commuters anticipating a long train ride home.
