THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Macaroni Grill Restaurant Review:
After an afternoon of shopping, Macaroni Grill has a large, lovely dining room and a staff who will treat you right. Your waiter will bring a bottle of jug wine to the table, which is self-served on the honor system. To start, there's the respectable calamari, shrimp and artichoke dip or the tomato bruschetta. Some of the pastas are occasionally doughy, but only a spoilsport would complain about the delicately breaded veal or chicken. Simple fare is done well, such as salmon sautéed in lemon butter with capers, tomatoes and basil; or the chicken scaloppine. If you're in a hurry and don't want to order multiple courses, have a brick-oven pizza and a beer. Whatever you order, you get crayons for coloring on the butcher paper tablecloth, and this opportunity has helped us on a number of visits to get in touch with our inner child.
