Maiko Sushi Restaurant Review

: Maïko is a sort of sushi boutique reminiscent of sushi houses found in Japan --- a pleasant mix of old and new. At this West Island location, chef Maïko's talent is evident in intricate preparations of well-thought-out bites. Try the tuna basil sushi and sashimi rolls accompanied by a recommended beverage, and end with a soft chocolate delight, which takes 15 minutes to prepare, so be sure to order it with your entrée. This is a fine spot to bring family and friends to try out sushi for the first time because of the favorable impression it delivers. It's less formal than the downtown space but just as respected.
