Small, friendly patisserie with a Middle European clientele and feel due to its proximity to the Russian Orthodox church, which was built for the large Russian population that once lived here and gave its name to the area. Now it’s completely cosmopolitan, and, for its superlative cakes and pastries worth that extra walk if you’re in or around Queensway. The small room, free provided newspapers and café-style tables and chairs make it a welcoming place.
