Makai Market Restaurant Review:

More than 30 different eating establishments are operating at this bustling food court, located inside Hawaii's largest shopping center. There are familiar names from food courts around the country, such as Panda Express, Jamba Juice and Sbarro. But there is also a particular Hawaii-Asian twist, reflecting Hawaii's multi-ethnic background. It may be the only food court in the country where you can get tripe stew (a Hawaiian delicacy), Japanese chicken katsu curry, kalbi ribs (Korean), beef broccoli (Chinese), a scoop of Häagen-Dazs and a custard-filled malasada (a Portuguese donut) all in the same place. Most of the Makai Market stands are open half an hour before the rest of the mall, so you can fuel up for (or recharge during) a day of shopping.
