Every town needs a casual spot like Mama Santa's, with its kitschy Italian décor, florescent lights, cheap wine and inexpensive pizzas. If you’re looking for ambience, this isn’t the place, but if you’re craving simple, good food, it is. We suggest the large house pie that comes with pepperoni and pepperoncini. If you’d prefer, there are also no-frills entrées like cavatelli or veal cutlet. Whether you choose pizza or pasta, start the meal with a basket of warm, salty garlic toast. Desserts and wines are straightforward.
