Mandarin House Restaurant Review:

Chinese dishes like the hot-and-sour soup, orange chicken and beef with broccoli get raves for flavor. Nods also to the salt-and-pepper shrimp, the kung pao dishes and the chow fun noodles. The atmosphere isn’t much to speak of, and service can be rather languid, if friendly. This is, however, Port Hueneme, so most restaurants don't have amazing décor or highly trained servers. What Mandarin House does have is a list of cocktails that pack a punch. Lots of customers opt for take-out over eating inside.
