THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Marche Restaurant Review:
It would be a stretch for us to compare this sprawling brasserie to one, say, in Alsace, but it is interesting in an avant-garde, boisterous sort of way. We like to order the spit-roasted duck with caraway basmati or wood-fired chicken with roasted garlic sauce. The braised lamb shank is tasty, too. Other options include coq au vin, cassoulet and steak frites. Desserts are fairly familiar but decent, from profiteroles to a nice rendition of toffee cake. There's passable wine list to round things off.
