THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Marker Restaurant Review:

As the up-scale restaurant in a busy hotel, this room never seems to get the acclaim that long-time chef, Vincent Alberici, deserves. Week after week, he does imaginative menus, but the dining room remains quiet. Actually, that’s a plus for the intrepid diner, who can enjoy the ornate décor, and Alberici’s cuisine, in relative peace. The Gothic feel, with its heavy beams and wrought iron chandeliers, is pervasive, but Villeroy & Bosch china and fresh flowers, light up the tables. The wine list holds no surprises, but you can find something drinkable. There are pretty appetizers like crabmeat and rosettes of smoked salmon, décorated with wasabi, and hearty plates such as veal T-bone or rack of lamb. Vegetables receive special treatment in the form of intense ragouts or flans. There’s a large selection of desserts from the usual---key lime cheesecake and warm chocolate cake---to the unusual: fig tart with cassis sorbet, and vibrant spice cake with lemon ice cream.
