This Florida-casual restaurant serving traditional steakhouse selections is part of chef/owner Paul Mattison’s dining and catering empire. The menu is very old school (veal chop, steak Oscar, steak Diane, shrimp cocktail, oysters Rockefeller, escargot) with some surprises, including shrimp and scallop polenta and eggplant au gratin. Some of the offerings from the broiler are available in two sizes, and priced accordingly. Look out for the $25-$35 three-course dinner offerings. The wine cellar contains more than 1,000 bottles, while the Fireplace Lounge offers a lighter menu (appetizers, sandwiches) and live entertainment nightly, including jazz and swing. Those who prefer their own wine and entertainment can take advantage of Mattison’s Curb-Side To Go take-home service.
