The menu is a bit smaller than in years past, but that has helped McCafferty's focus on what it does best: Turn out great steaks and simple seafood dishes with aplomb. Beef is the main attraction. You'll never go wrong ordering a beautifully cooked prime rib, strip steak or filet mignon. But the pork porterhouse is no slouch either. Atmosphere, too, is a draw. Orioles and Colts memorabilia share wall space with row-upon-row of brightly colored caricatures depicting local bold-face personalities, and there's usually a talented pianist stroking out standards in the bar. Add attentive service and an upscale casual crowd, and a fine evening is yours. Don't be shy about asking for the light fare menu at dinnertime.
