Founded in 1949 in Santa Barbara, McConnell’s prepares its ice creams with milk and cream, eggs and cane sugar. Add-ins range from caramels and preserves to fruit and nuts, resulting in varieties such as toasted coconut almond chip, Dutchman’s chocolate and boysenberry rosé milk jam.
