THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED McGinty's Public House Restaurant Review:

Tucked away so far out of sight that only the most diligent seekers will find it, McGinty’s is the sister pub to the Silver Spring operation and it features chef Duane Keller. On several nights, a folk group plays as a backdrop to a traditional Irish---with some American faves thrown in---meal. Stick to the Irish fare. Among the notable dishes are the haddock and chips, the chef’s take on fish ‘n’ chips: a haddock filet is breaded and deep-fried and placed upon a pile of fries. The house signature is the corned beef and cabbage, and this is corned beef like you’ve never had it before, braised brisket so tender it really melts on your fork. Sides include colcannon mashed, boxty, and Dubliner fondue, plus a few more American-sounding dishes. If you like Key lime pie, this version is fine, but for a more Irish ending, head to the chocolate bread pudding with Bushmill’s whiskey sauce.
