31Ten Lounge Restaurant Review:

This Santa Monica space has some history --- it was formerly Caché Restaurant & Lounge, Hidden Restaurant before that, and Schatzi On Main if you go back even further. Current tenant 31Ten Lounge has also undergone many changes and it continues to evolve. The seductively lit indoor-outdoor setting has various areas to meet and mingle, but don't expect traditional dining tables. Rather, revelers can step up to the bar or relax on couches clustered around a fire pit. The eclectic menu offers snacks and small plates like duck pot stickers, hummus, calamari and beef carpaccio. Rounding out the offerings are skewers, sliders and wood-oven pizzas. The wine list is limited, so seek out cocktails. DJs start spinning at 10 p.m.
