Morton's The Steakhouse Restaurant Review:
At this Morton's location in the Warner Center, the steaks are the same aged Prime you'll find elsewhere, complete with classic sides like creamed spinach, Lyonnaise potatoes and button mushrooms. Oysters Rockefeller and a center-cut iceberg wedge salad make for satisfying starters. In addition to cuts of filet mignon, rib-eye and New York strip, there are alternatives to red meat such as honey-glazed salmon, crab cakes and shrimp scampi. The soufflés must be ordered in advance, and while chocolate is the favorite with most diners, raspberry and lemon provide a lighter finish. The comprehensive wine list covers the globe, with a lengthy section devoted to California Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. The bar offers “Power Hour” Sunday through Friday 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with specially priced martinis and cocktails, and bar bites including a filet mignon trio, prime cheeseburgers and mini-crab cake BLTs.
