The Avenue Restaurant Review:

The owners of Roggie's --- a quintessential co-ed hangout across the reservoir from Boston College --- figured out the formula to draw in the college crowd long ago and replicated it at The Avenue. The restaurant boasts one of the least expensive menus in town, with wings in every flavor you can think of: buffalo, barbecue, teriyaki, sweet-and-sour and garlic Parmesan, among others. Appetizers also include chicken fingers, pot stickers and spinach and artichoke dip, but there are some funky finds like fries with griddled onions and pickles, and sweet potato tots with bacon maple ketchup. A popular quick lunch to go is a bag of five burgers for $15. As you might expect, there are TVs galore blaring sports at all times. It's the ultimate second home for Allston's student population.
