Hand-tossed pies are inventive; highlights include a classic Sicilian and a Florentine combination with spinach, ricotta and mozzarella, as well as tomatoes. Try the gnocchi pesto and an orecchiette barese with broccoli rabe and crumbled sausage. Entrées like baked eggplant Parmigiana with mozzarella and a pomodoro sauce, and veal picatta topped with capers in a lemon and white wine sauce, are similarly traditionally prepared.
