Bella's Italian Cafe Restaurant Review:
Located in the trendy South Tampa corner of the city, where bistros come and go, Bella's has staying power. House pastas are an option but don't overlook the lasagna con pollo (sheets of freshly made pasta with grilled chicken, spinach, portobello, porcini and butter mushrooms, and mozzarella, ricotta and Asiago cheeses, served with a roasted tomato cream sauce), or the Pollo Rosso (blackened chicken tossed with fettuccine in a roasted tomato sauce with mushroom and scallions). Sliced eggplant stuffed with prosciutto, smoked mozzarella and risotto, rolled, baked and topped with red sauce, is also available. Innovative desserts include the chocolate toffee tart.
