Big City Restaurant Review:

Big City features a pool hall, pizzeria and a separate bar and grill. Downstairs is a high-ceilinged room that's gussied up with turn-of-the-century Boston memorabilia like parking meters and shiny brass detailing. Upstairs finds a warren of pool halls, bars and small living room-type areas. Pizza is the focus of the menu, with flatbreads for starters and a selection of pies: red sauce, white sauce and green (pesto or just vegetables). Top your pizza with everything from Thai ginger chicken with peanut sauce to “Nawlins” jambalaya with chicken, shrimp and sausage. There are pizza wrap calzones that come in the form of chicken Parm or sausage and peppers, or “pizza-dilla” calzones with a Mexican flair. Don’t miss the apple pie pizza for dessert, loaded with roasted apples, maple honey butter and cream cheese streusel. Brunch features dishes like sliced filet mignon with poached eggs, pancakes and stuffed french toast. Eighty beers are on tap.
