Bistro Ten 18 Restaurant Review:
Clean, sophisticated lines create a sense of space in the small, unpretentious dining room and corner windows make it feel as large as the Cathedral across the street. Dark-stained, wooden tables evoke a monastic setting but the bar and the imaginative menu are pure Manhattan. Co-owner Craig Skiptunis labors alongside his staff to fulfill the wishes of his guests, offering some bistro favorites such as grilled skirt steak, pork shoulder and oven-roasted salmon. All become more romantic when served at night in the candle-lit room. Many of the ingredients are locally sourced and organic. Sidewalk seating and “Poached Eggs Ten 18” make weekend brunch an inspired experience, especially if paired with strawberry mint Champagne or a bacon-infused Bloody Mary.
