Bizzarro Italian Cafe Restaurant Review:

Cockeyed chandeliers, purple brick walls and a bicycle hanging from the ceiling all fight for attention at this neighborhood bistro offering inventive and seasonal Italian cuisine. Pumpkin-stuffed ravioli and house-made gnocchi tossed with duck and bacon sausage are fall stars. Elk bolognese is paired with handmade ribbon pasta; braised lamb shank is served with fig demi-glaze; and chanterelle mushrooms, kale and angel hair pasta mingle with a zesty blood orange and lemon sauce. House-made, gluten-free pasta is available. For dessert, sink a spoon into classic bananas Foster or try espresso-infused chocolate Bundt cake topped with chocolate-hazelnut gelato. Despite the setting and sense of humor, Bizzarro is geared for adults, not for families with young children. While service is friendly, it can also be uneven.
