This University Village spot offers conveyor belt-style fresh sushi at affordable prices. Selections are mostly familiar --- hamachi (yellowtail) nigiri, spicy tuna maki, and so forth. Peruse the variety of dishes scooting past on the moving conveyor belt, and then choose from rainbow-hued plates (color-coded for price) matching those of Tokyo's subway lines. There's also a range of cooked dishes --- tempura, tonkatsu --- and desserts, making the eatery appealing to a wide group of diners. Service is friendly, and call buttons along the sushi line speed up service. This outpost, formerly located at 4601 26th Ave. NE., has an expanded menu that includes Japanese dumplings, robata-grilled options and a seasonal raw bar.
