Breckenridge Colorado Craft Restaurant Review:

The sister location of the original Breck --- located up in Breckenridge, Colorado --- this downtown outlet carries on founder Richard Squire’s esteemed brewpub vision. A roomy, boomy, brewpub caddy-corner to Coors Field with efficient and welcoming service, the Breck is a choice place for pre- and post-game sips and sandwiches, and an off-season pint --- there are 32 craft beers on tap. Game-day crowds pack in for the beers, including the big-selling vanilla porter and the exceptional oatmeal stout. This rich, round and roasted wonder is one of Denver’s best dark beers. The menu features a wealth of selections that raise the brewpub fare standard by several notches. Sure, you’ll find loads of sandwiches (the ale-braised lamb is especially notable), burgers and Buffalo wings, but we swing for the Southwestern chicken salad with the spiky green chile dressing. Grilled salmon tacos are always a home run, while the wild boar or bison bangers, sided with mashers, have their own legion of fans. For dessert, try the chocolate pots de crème or, for something lighter, gelato or sorbet.
