This is one of those public secrets: The stand-alone restaurant at The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club has one of the best Sunday brunches in Southwest Florida. Now that the resort and the surrounding area have become much more developed, tourists and an expanding radius of locals has also found that there's good food to be found here for other days of the week. The menu is somewhat traditional with a short list of time-honored appetizers (New England clam chowder, shrimp cocktail). There is also a nice variety of salads and sandwiches at lunch while dinner entrées include a fish of the day, linguine with winter vegetables and grilled chicken breast or grilled rib steak. The service is modestly crisp and the atmosphere is relaxed.
