Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Restaurant & Market Restaurant Review:

We’re not crazy about theme restaurants, but it can’t be just movie lovers standing in line here for the deep-fried shrimp and the peel-and-eat shrimp; in fact, every kind of shrimp. This is a casual, hands-on place to dine. The food is acceptable, especially with a cold beer on a warm day. Décor is hokey --- stuff from the movie (remember?), but there’s plenty of outside dining and an ocean view. Staff is young and cheerful, making it a good-natured spot overall.
