Ca'Bianca Restaurant Review:

Ca’Bianca, located just a few blocks from downtown Santa Rosa, is a white Victorian with a wraparound veranda and a shaded patio that’s reminiscent of well-preserved estates in the Deep South. Inside, guests are greeted by gray murals of Italy carefully framed with wood moldings. Dishes hail from Milan to Sicily, but this is far from an Italian roadhouse, although it's as comfortable. Start with the baked layers of eggplant, tomato and mozzarella or the clams and mussels sautéed with leeks, garlic and white wine. House-made pastas include gnocchetti with porcini and slowly braised Angus beef, and ravioli stuffed with salmon and zucchini generously draped with mascarpone sauce. Notable entrées are the pork tenderloin topped with pears and Gorgonzola simmered in a port wine reduction and the Angus rib-eye grilled with a Syrah reduction. Be sure to save room for the chocolate terrine. Wines unsurprisingly skew Italian. Check out the port and grappa selections as well.
