This casual café (formerly Cafe Flore), reminiscent of a large greenhouse surrounded by a fenced patio, is perched on a sunny corner in the Castro and delivers prime people-watching. The habitués are as eclectic as San Francisco itself. Brunch, burgers, sandwiches, egg dishes and salads are good, but the espresso drinks and the scene are what draw the crowds.
