The Cambridge House Brew Pub Restaurant Review:

The kitchen frequently stumbles, the service isn't quite up to par, and yet, like flies to the tacky paper, they come. Maybe that's due to the extensive list of house-brewed craft beers (it is a brewpub, after all). Or the very comfortable space. Maybe it's the jovial, family-friendly air (it's the type of pub where the kids are welcome and have their own menu). The food's mostly meat-and-potatoes, with salads and sandwiches along for the ride. We're content with a pint of CBH IPA and a half-beef, half-pork 50/50 Whiskey Burger topped with cheddar, bacon and whiskey barbecue sauce --- okay, we usually need to try a pint of the guest brew, too. Beer-battered fish 'n' chips doesn't disappoint either, since the beer in the batter is house-brewed. But we wonder how a flank steak purportedly marinated for days in stout could be so tough and dry. Order wisely, and you'll eat well enough; otherwise, it's hard to go wrong with a multi-course meal of beer.
