Cask Bar + Kitchen pays homage to hand-drawn cask-cultivated beers, inventive cocktails, an eclectic wine list and gastropub-inspired fare in a dimly lit, rusticated interior. The décor is characterized by exposed brick walls, wood beams, filament light bulbs, cask tops fixed into the wall and vintage accents. Pair wine and beer with small shareable plates including Italian, Spanish and French meats and cheeses like Parmigiano-Reggiano, Taleggio, coppa or prosciutto di Parma. Don't skip the "Red Neck Sushi," port-braised smoked pork belly, apple wood-smoked bacon, maple-glazed pickled jalapeños and Bosc pear and green apple slaw. A variety of hearty burgers, inventive flatbread, and eclectic big plates ranging from orecchiette in a delicate shiitake, cremini, leek and pea broth to a meaty lamb shank with pumpkin gnocchi and braised red cabbage, are as diverse in flavor as the beverages.
