Clyde's has long been the favored spot among Columbia professionals for after-work partying. When the bar scene overheats, the action moves to tables in view of the community's man-made Lake Kittamaqundi for casual-to-upscale all-American fare. Favorites include Chesapeake Bay jumbo lump crab cakes, blackened chicken with sweet potatoes wedges, smoked brisket on an onion roll, and a juicy bacon cheeseburger. It's comfort food, well turned out and in generous portions. Dining with the kids? Children have their own menu choices that range from mac ‘n’ cheese and chicken tenders to fish ‘n’ chips. Part of a large DC-based restaurant group, this Clyde's was the second one to open as part of the Clyde's brand.
