Coyote Grille Restaurant Review:
Despite its kitschy name and cutesy décor, this eatery makes a valiant effort to woo both singles and families. Its lengthy menu wraps up all the familiar Tex-Mex offerings, from burritos to chili con queso and tamales. But the kitchen has slipped in some offbeat fare, such as chicken linguine with roasted tomatoes and tequila-lime chicken, plus two very typical items: the turkey mole poblano and carnitas, which here emerges as shredded rather than cubed pork. Flour tortillas are fresh, the atmosphere lively, and if the flavors don’t strike a bull’s eye, at least many of the dishes sidestep the Tex-Mex clichés.
