Eureka! Restaurant Review:

Eureka! may be located a few miles north of the waves and sand of the Huntington Beach coastline, but it dutifully captures Surf City’s relaxed vibe. It does so by offering a breezy outdoor patio, where guests can chill with a craft beer and watch shoppers flit about the Bella Terra shopping complex. But it also accomplishes it with a light, airy interior replete with soft woods, off-white banquettes and a long, inviting bar that’s the perfect spot to imbibe a selection from the impressive whiskey list. The casual ambience is further enhanced by the bevy of burgers that is the focal point of the menu, an eclectic array that features enticing ingredients such as pancetta, bacon-infused jalapeño jam, shiitake mushroom bone marrow butter and homemade fig marmalade. Those who want something beyond meat between buns can opt for starters of tasty osso buco riblets or the lollipop corn dogs, or they can go for a chopped salad with kale, quinoa, roasted beets and feta or a heartier entrée like the teriyaki salmon served with mushroom black rice and ginger coleslaw. Be sure to save room for the super-indulgent bourbon barrel cake. Weekend warriors can drop by for brunch and fuel up on Bloody Marys and slightly kicked-up takes on classics such as bread pudding french toast.
