Fat Head’s Brewery & Saloon Restaurant Review:
With an elaborate on-premise brewery, kitchen and real pit smoker, the Cleveland outpost of Fat Head’s Brewery & Saloon offers an American mix of brewpub fare. Wings, burgers and stone-oven pizzas are all quality choices. The best way to enjoy the wealth of what this eatery has to offer, though, is in any of the 18 giant sandwiches. The Southside Slopes features kielbasa topped with fried pierogies, American cheese, grilled onion and spicy horseradish sauce. Meanwhile, Mo Betta Beef ‘N’ Chedda is loaded with smoked brisket, sharp cheddar, portobellos, bacon and chipotle mayo. Munchies and salads round out the selections. Service is spotty, but the craft beer and the food are respectable. Desserts aren’t impressive.
