THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Fig & Olive Restaurant Review:

About the restaurant & décor: Fig & Olive started out in New York and has since expanded across the country with this location in West Hollywood, as well as branches in Newport Beach, Chicago and Washington, D.C. The restaurant can seat nearly 500 guests at full capacity, so it's no surprise that many parties and special events have been hosted here. The multi-room space features an upstairs level overlooking the contemporary-styled dining room anchored by an olive tree, a semi-covered patio and a bar/lounge by the entrance with a 50-foot marble bar and communal table.

Food & Drinks: The menu presents French Riviera-inspired fare. Diners are faced with the difficult task of choosing between assortments of olives, cheeses, charcuterie and crostini (we recommend the one with goat cheese, caramelized onions and chives). Drizzles of specially selected olive oils add finishing touches to starters such as thin slices of braised octopus topped with marinated bell peppers, potatoes and black olives. Seasonal inspirations might include a light and flavorful crab salad or burrata and asparagus. Spring produce lends delightful, crunchy texture to the creamy primavera risotto. For main dishes, we suggest the seared sea scallops with honey heirloom carrots or the filet mignon accompanied by manchego and mascarpone cheese. Finish with the delicately tart dessert of clementine vacherin, composed of blood orange coulis, clementine sorbet, white chocolate mousse and meringue. The carefully curated wine list offers selections from the South of France, Spain and Italy.
