Since 1927, this legendary kosher deli and restaurant has been serving New Yorkers everything from terrific hot dogs and massive sandwiches to full dinners. The big jars of peppers and olives in the window (and the knishes and roasted turkeys and chickens in the deli case) only hint at the delights available inside---including a Romanian tenderloin steak sandwich with french fries, cole slaw and pickles; a pleasantly hearty chef’s salad; tender turkey meatloaf; chicken fricassée; and juicy grilled lamb chops.
