Diners like Fonda's small-plates menu of Mexican standards and pan-Latin specialties. Noteworthy dishes on the evolving menu could include grilled rack of lamb with chimichurri, duck tacos, tostaditas and other little whims that keep guests returning time after time. The hearty stews and grilled fish selections are also enjoyable. A nice, reasonably priced wine and beer list and creative cocktails complement the fare. Not just one but two versions of happy hour --- Sunday afternoons and late-night every night --- make matters all the happier.
