Who said the Main Street coffee shop was dead? A place that takes a slower pace, Friendly's best feature is its creamery-rich ice cream. The rotating list of flavors includes more than a dozen options including sherbet---try the watermelon---and frozen yogurt. The dining menu is full of traditional family fare. The cuisine is mediocre, which makes it easy to save room for the marvelous ice cream sundaes.
