About the restaurant & décor: Gordon Ramsay made his Vegas gourmet burger restaurant debut here just steps from the Planet Hollywood Strip entrance. Design elements include a brightly lit room with an undulated ceiling, steel and concrete floor, a keg display, strategically placed TVs and an open kitchen.

About the food: Start with roasted jalapeño poppers, a collection of six thickly breaded peppers served atop cheddar ranch dip with a splash of hot sauce (five deseeded; one a fiery surprise) in shot glasses. But the burgers are the star of the show and are a luxe mixture of brisket, chuck and short rib, flame-broiled over apple and alder woods and basted with Devonshire butter. Try the U.K. burger, with Dubliner cheese, Major Grey’s chutney and arugula; or the Hell’s Kitchen, with asadero cheese, roasted jalapeño, avocado and roasted tomato. A vegetarian Impossible burger patty can be substituted for beef versions. A crispy chicken patty, fried chicken skins, avocado, marinated tomato, butter lettuce and cherry pepper spread comprise the Crispy Cherry Pepper Chicken burger; the Fish and Crisps Burger features ale-battered cod, salt and vinegar crisps and yuzu-dill mayo. Fries are in variations such as truffle Parmesan with a truffle aïoli, and “just fries” with chipotle and curry ketchups. A sugar fix awaits via pudding shakes, which come in flavors of caramel/chocolate, coconut/strawberry, butterscotch/banana, crème brûlée/Oreo and chocolate hazelnut/coffee. Among breakfast menu highlights are the Las Vegan sandwich with a plant-based sausage patty, tofu scramble, arugula and roasted tomato on a vegan bun; and bread pudding french toast sticks, toffee sauce and house jam. The Tropical Greens smoothie blends mango, pineapple, kale and cucumber.
