Grace Restaurant Review:

Shimmering stained glass and vaulted ceilings will stop you in your tracks before you head to the circular bar for a cocktail and snack before dinner. The bar food surprises, with everything from raw bar offerings to a pick-your-choices charcuterie list. Small plates range from crab and mortadella hushpuppies served with an Old Bay ketchup to the Grace Burger, veal meatballs and the vegetable presentation of the day. Entrées include pan-seared blue snapper with a smoked farro, mushroom consommé, beets, turnips and fava beans in a rosemary pine nut cream. Steak lovers are treated to a choice of Black Angus hanger steak or a Maine farm-raised rib-eye. Pan-seared duck breast or lamb neck filet might do the trick for poultry fans. Grace’s menu changes often depending on what’s in season. For dessert, try the pink lemon tart with marshmallow and ginger cashew crumble or the pumpkin skillet cookie with a combination of chocolate chips, coffee ice cream and pepita brittle. The wine list has selections from three categories: U.S., Europe and Global, and the cocktails made with infused liquors bear such fitting names as Redemption or Holier Than Thou.
