Gyros Gyros Restaurant Review:

This friendly café in the heart of downtown Palo Alto serves some of the finest gyros on the Peninsula. The best of the lot is the succulent lamb and beef gyro, but the lean yet juicy chicken gyro is nearly as good. Greek salad with shwarma is another highlight, as is the baklava. The restaurant also offers a variety of Mediterranean favorites including falafel, spanakopita, moussaka and tiropita as well as charcoal-grilled shish kebab sandwiches. A popular destination with the weekday lunch crowd, Gyros Gyros also draws a good number of night owls given that it is one of the few places in the area that serves food until 11 p.m.
