Harbor Restaurant Restaurant Review:

About the restaurant: Views of the harbor and Pacific Ocean make this place perennially popular, specifically with tourists. Nautical flags adorn the walls, while tables are placed so everyone gets a view.

Food & Drinks: Several oyster varieties (Blue Point, Fanny Bay and Kumamoto) are served up on the half shell, and though you’ll find Maine lobster, local fish is hard to find on the menu, except for Hope Ranch mussels. The brunch offerings are equally as uninspired, with the exception of the reef Benedict with shrimp, crab and scallops. On a good night, when the service is attentive and the sunset particularly striking, it’s a pleasant way to spend some time, but the prices are quite high here. It’s better for drinks and appetizers than a full meal. A decent selection of local and international wines is available, along with a full bar. Though not particularly creative, the desserts are reliably good --- and big enough to share: the chocolate cake is a four-story tower of fudge, and since a half-pound chocolate chip cookie isn’t enough, they top it with vanilla ice cream and almonds.
