Ho Chow Restaurant Review:
Named for a bridge over the Yangtze River near Shanghai that is famous for its food stalls and local freshwater produce, Ho Chow offers Mandarin and Szechuan fare prepared with the utmost care. Tantalizing dishes such as Tangerine Chicken, Ruby Jade Scallops and Tea-Smoked Duck --- tender ducklings prepared with imported oolong tea --- prove that this is not your average eatery. Even the standards are special: hot-and-spicy Bonsai Chow Mein is made with dark aromatic rice vinegar, coarsely ground black pepper, and a wealth of fresh vegetables and meat.
