J.R.’s Steakhouse Restaurant Review:
When a restaurant is packed to the rafters on a Monday night, and there are no inexpensive dishes on the menu, you know you’ve found a place that’s doing something right. Plush but casual, JR’s brings in a big business-traveler crowd during the week and locals out on weekend date nights, all because the steaks are huge, flavorful and beautifully prepared. Tenderloin stuffed with crab, wrapped in bacon and swept in a Roquefort sauce is a prime pick, and pan-seared tuna with a pomegranate-teriyaki treatment is notable. The wine list offers interesting finds, and the bar scene will keep you amused if you have to wait for a table.
