JaK's Grill Restaurant Review:

This locally-owned and -managed neighborhood steakhouse dishes up good food without pretension. Diners willingly wait in line (no reservations taken) for huge portions of corn-fed Nebraska beef aged on the premises for at least 28 days. Steaks range from tender filet mignon to Prime porterhouse and brochettes dusted with Moroccan spices. Unlike most higher-priced steak restaurants, every dinner here includes a fresh green salad, seasonal vegetables, fresh bread and either a baked potato, garlic mashed potatoes, potato pancakes or fries. Steaks are charbroiled over high heat and finished with Worcestershire-spiked steak butter. Dinner sandwiches, such as the JaK’s burger, are ideal for smaller appetites and/or budgets. The menu also includes well-prepared non-meat options such as prawn scampi, fresh wild Pacific salmon and lobster mac 'n' cheese.
