Joe's American Bar & Grill Restaurant Review:

This local chain offers good-size portions of middle-of-the-road American fare: burgers, sandwiches, nachos, wings and the like. Tourists flock to this outpost for its reasonable prices and waterfront setting just steps from both Faneuil Hall and the North End. You can’t go wrong with staples like the massive Cobb salad served in a tortilla shell, bacon cheeseburger or Buffalo chicken grilled pizza. There are, however, much better places in Boston proper for fresh seafood or prime rib --- Joe's does offer a double-cut prime rib challenge that’s a value at $28.99. Finish with an enormous slice of gooey Charles River ice cream pie. And we never turn up our noses at the complimentary Bloody Mary, mimosa, screwdriver or Bud Light draft that comes with brunch.
