K Lounge Restaurant Review:
This former banquet hall is the love child of Vikram Chatwal, owner of the nearby Dream Hotel. The heavily coiffed clientele, who don't think twice about dropping $12 for a cocktail, lounge in the sub-continental ambience, complete with lots of lace, billowy pillows, Persian rugs, statuettes acting out scenes from the Kama Sutra, burning incense, and even a human-size bird cage (we're still not sure what that's for). It's kitschy but cool, sultry but not overly sexy. Small plates of Indian treats, such as samosas and kebabs, are available.
