Lebanese Taverna Restaurant Review:
The original location of the areas Lebanese Taverna restaurants, this looks every bit like someones well-designed and elegant living room, slightly expanded, and without the overstuffed furniture. Youll find the same good cooking that its more famous and newer DC restaurant provides, but without the glitz. Its definitely a family destination. The kitchen serves fare that even the kids will like, from the Lebanese pizzas and sausage sandwiches, to more sophisticated goodies for Mom and Dad: roasted half chicken; lamb with warmed yogurt; lamb shish kebab; and vine leaves encasing pieces of lamb, beef and rice. Also located at 2641 Connecticut Ave. NW, Washington, DC, 202-265-8681; and Pentagon Row, 1101 S. Joyce St., Arlington, VA, 703-415-8681.
