Situated in the loft of a barn on the grounds of a working dairy farm, this place truly offers farm-to-table cuisine. Organic ingredients, mostly from the farm and local sources, are used to prepare simple yet creative fare served in a serene, upscale setting complete with white tablecloths and a touch of elegance. The cheese board starter showcases the output of the dairy, as does the charcuterie board of house-made selections and vegetable pickles. Menus change with the season --- think kale salad with wild rice, lentils, apple and sunflower seeds kissed with a feta vinaigrette; scallops with garden pumpkin, malabar spinach and spiced croutons with apple-jalapeño butter; pork belly tartine with apple-potato slaw; and house-rolled egg noodles with roasted butternut squash, oyster mushrooms, spinach and sage-brown butter broth. Top off the meal with a bowl of the farm's freshly made ice cream or a thick handcrafted shake.
