Luna Grill & Diner Restaurant Review:
It seems silly to think that one diner (that does not even resemble a diner) could cause such a stir, but this place merits return visits, not only for its outrageous décor but also for its rather funky menu. Offerings include several surprising dishes: spicy bourbon barbecue chicken breast, grilled New York steak and a Pittsburgh-style barbecue sandwich with coleslaw. We particularly like the burger with a side of fries, but are just as happy with the Reuben. If you’d rather, you can order breakfast (like strawberries and cream or cinnamon raisin french toast) all day. Also located at 4024 Campbell Ave. Shirlington, Virginia, 703-379-7173.
