McDonald's Restaurant Review:

The main reason we're recommending this fast food franchise --- out of some 15,000 McDonald's around the country --- is the McView. It is one of only a handful of venues in this chain with water access, and for beach-goers, the fact that you could dock your boat right next to the restaurant means easy access to McFood and McBathroom. The restaurant is on the land side of the Intracoastal Waterway, and its view is as good as that of many more expensive restaurants. The food is typical of McDonald's --- no cappuccinos or mini-pizzas here --- just the standard burgers, chicken nuggets, fish sandwiches and the health-oriented salads and such. And there are also wraps and even chocolate chip cookies, so the variety keeps expanding. The sodas are always ice cold and the trademark freshly brewed coffee is made with 100 percent Arabica beans.
